Fortunately, you do not invest thousands, the first photo I sold was taken by a 4Mp Nikon Coolpix. What you really need is to find an appropriate magazine. There are quite a few really good books and websites out there if you go looking. My suggestion is to check one of them – http://www.freelance-market.net – and try a couple magazines until you find out what does the job right for you. And certainly don't be despondent when your images are rejected or not used. After all it’s fun.
